Deafinitely's Contractions available online

Deafinitely Theatre are making three of their productions available to watch online.

This includes our 2017 co-production of Mike Barlett's dark comedy Contractions which marked Deafinitely's 15th Anniversary and won an Off West-End Award for Best Production. Contractions will be available throughout June 2020.

In April you'll be able to watch Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost filmed at the Globe in 2012 and in May you can catch George Brant’s Grounded filmed at Park Theatre in 2015.

All productions are performed in British Sign Language and Spoken English. They will be on Deafinitely's YouTube channel for free here.

Artistic Director of Deafinitely Theatre, Paula Garfield today said

“We are in precarious times – probably the most difficult and unusual of this century, and many people are struggling. It is therefore important that we find a way to survive and connect beyond physical contact and culture remains a vital way for us to come together, even when we can’t congregate in theatres or galleries. Deafinitely Theatre is thrilled to make digitally available three of our recent plays to give audiences a chance to see, or revisit, these acclaimed bilingual productions. Each will be available for free for one month on Deafinitely’s YouTube channel.”
