Cast and creative team announced for Shorts and Socks Included

Lost Watch announce the cast and creative team for their new production - Shorts and Socks Included.

Our Associate Ensemble, Lost Watch, present their first show at NDT since 2018's Left My Desk.

Shorts and Socks Included takes us into the world of football post England's 1966 World Cup win. Sales are down and knitwear manufacturer Admiral need to find a new product or it’s all over. They decide sportswear is the winning investment. After striking a deal to design the away kit for Don Revie’s ruthless champions, Leeds United, things are on the up. All they need now is a designer.

Lindsay has just graduated art school. She has no idea who Don Revie is, but she knows a lot about collars, sashes and chevrons. Fashion in football is about to be born. Lost Watch unravel the farcical true story of the nun’s underwear company that stumbled into a billion-pound industry.

Shorts and Socks Included is written by The Incident Room co-writer Olivia Hirst. It will be performed by Olivia, Lost Watch Producer Rianna Dearden, actors Georgia Bradley and Lucdina Jarvis.

Hannah Benson, of Burnt Lemon (Tokyo Rose), is the Assistant Director and Sound Designer. Designer, Lizzy Leech, returns to NDT after designing both Joan of Leeds and Antigone. Bethany Gupwell, last seen at NDT lighting Keep Watching, is the Lighting Designer.
