12 Million Volts

We would like you to close your eyes. Now, imagine a man...

Actually - don't! We will imagine him for you using our award winning visual and physical theatre. We are bringing you the story of Nikola Tesla - in our opinion one of the world’s most badass inventors. Our show will contain: holograms (sort of!), pigeons with lasers coming out of their eyes (pretty much!) and more lighting tricks than we can afford batteries to perform (definitely!)

Winners of the Les Enfants Terribles Partnership award in association with Greenwich Theatre we at The Outbound Project promise to show you the many reasons why we think Tesla is a legend, Edison is an overrated thief, and the American dream could have been so much more…

This production is supported by the New Diorama Emerging Companies Fund.

The Outbound Project is a company of actors, theatre-makers and artists that have come together to create new and inspiring work with a focus on physical and visual storytelling.

We are made up of graduates from East 15's BA Physical Theatre course. Since forming in early 2016, we have become part of the Graduate Emerging Companies Programme at New Diorama Theatre and won of the 2016 Les Enfants Terribles Partnership Award in association with Greenwich Theatre.

In 2016 our first show The Mission premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before transferring to London to do a run at Greenwich Theatre and the New Diorama.

"...fiercely intelligent...relentlessly imaginative...philosophically and emotionally honest." Fest on The Mission

"...fantastic in their performance...their physical work is superb."
