New Diorama Shortlisted for Two Stage Awards

New Diorama have been nominated for two national theatre awards by The Stage: Best Fringe Theatre and their inaugural Innovation Award for our artist development work.

The inaugural Innovation Award has been established by The Stage Awards to highlight the best new design, technical or creative developments in the performing arts in the past 12 months. We are thrilled at this recognition for our work in supporting emerging companies, and to be nominated alongside Complicite and Les Enfants Terribles.

NDT has also been nominated for the Fringe Theatre of the Year award in acknowledgement of our strong year of work and the launch of our new artist development programme, which we officially launched in February 2016.

Both these nominations are thanks to the artists, collaborators, supporters and audiences that were part of making 2016 our most successful yet at NDT.

Furthermore, our Artistic and Executive Director, David Byrne, has made The Stage 100 list of the most influential people in theatre, for the very first time.
